Susan and Robert Wyllie packed their bags for Rarotonga and never looked back. That was 10 years ago and now they have a thriving skincare business based on ‘cold-pressed’ coconut oil; using local ingredients and providing employment to support the local economy.
We’ve been busy working with our fine food friends in Sydney Food Fix Up. They create honest, simple, healthy and (of course) delicious recipes. The talented Stef creates, preps and styles the food which is shot by photographer Dean Tirkot using natural light. The iOS app will be released soon – watch this space!

What we’re currently reading at SOAP HQ :: Smith Journal – a real interesting read, not your usual run of the mill articles, a little alternative but very insightful. Stunning typography, great photography not to mention beautifully printed on uncoated stock – need we say more?

It’s been an interesting week playing around with Google Design on a collaborative project with the Roam crew. A lot of fun and a lot of debates – as designers, all we want to do is break the rules and push boundaries (within reason of course) and devs on the flip side tend to love rules and efficiency. Good to explore and test out the principles so we can achieve the best results out of Android apps.
